I love the style of number 5. It took me a minute to realize that it was a business card and not a picture of a web page.
Number 25 is another favorite, I love business cards that you can use and play with. It really keeps your mind on that company when their advertising sticks out that way.

I love #36. As a student, a stamp with your info is a great thing to carry around with you, as I haven’t established a brand around myself yet. Using anything available as the card is a great way to ‘go green’ in a small way as well. I want to order one for myself right now!

#5 is depicting the Microsoft Windows XP visual style called “Royale XP – Black”.
I wonder if they’ve got the rights to use the image for printing use? As far as I remember, the style is copyrighted.
Lame thing actually… an ad-firm that “steals” existing design? Were they too un-inspired to come up with something on their own or are they generally so un-creative?
Not as professional as it should be. Two thumbs down on that one!

I think the Akufen card, number 26 is fantastic. It doesnt say here, but each card inside is exactly the same, but the envelope has different holes so when the card is inserted, it is unique to that person. Probably one of the most unique cards around.
I do wonder though, just how practical some of these cards are. Sure, they look great, but how many people are going to carry around pieces of wood or metal to hand out to people, not to mention the costs involved. If I got a metal business card given to me, the first thing I would think is, this is going to cost me a fortune as they must of been paid for somehow!

I’m the owner of a CGI Animation Company, like 10 years ago I used to have a card like a little block and if you run it out you can see my logo spinning in 3D, was a hit. And I never ever saw something a like.

There are some really original ideas here. I think the Black Napkin card (the metal business card with the cutlery cut out) was produced by a UK business too http://www.plasmadesign.co.uk
